Do-It-Yourself Library: I Need Full Text

Nothing I Found Was in Full Text

In your search results from NWACC Library's "Search Everything" if there is no link to the full text, or link to full text from NWACC library's other multidisciplinary database tools (such as ProQuest Central, Gale Power Search, Wiley Online Library) look for the Full text finder logo button, which searches further for the item and often takes you to the full text.

If the Full Text finder button does not take you to the full text:

  • Search in NWACC library's "Journal by title" in which the article appears. (Do not search for the article title.)
    • At times there may be multiple versions of the journal.
    • Access the relevant journal issue and navigate to the article you need. At times, if you don't see the full text immediately from the electronic access page of the journal, make sure the article you are searching does not fall under the embargo period.

More on accessing a specific journal

  • If we do not have the article in our online journal collections, request it through interlibrary loan. Do not pay for individual articles online - you are already paying for access with your NWACC tuition.
