Available at the circulation desk on the first floor of Burns Hall (BH 1304), the NWACC library provides a variety of loanable equipment (cameras, microphones, and drawing tablets) for users to create and complete multimedia projects. We also offer other devices such as headphones, webcams, wifi hotspots, calculators, and laptops. Laptops, hotspots, and calculators are also available in limited quantities at Washington County in the Information Commons (WC 111) on the first floor.
In addition, the NWACC Library, Learning Commons, and the Information Commons at Washington County all have in-house computers, printers and scanners that can be used during normal operating hours. Computers are equiped with basic software such as Microsoft Suite and web browsers typical of Microsoft computers. Limited Macintosh (Macs) computers are available in the Library and Learning Commons on the Main NWACC campus. Some of these computers do have some additional software capibilities, such as Adobe Premier Pro, IMovie, and Adobe Suite and are clearly marked for easy identification. Additional specific software will NOT be added to any Library computers even upon patron request.
NWACC Library provides multimedia equipment for NWACC students, faculty, and staff. Each section of this guide lists the equipment the library has available, as well as the policies for using this equipment.
Please carefully review our Equipment Agreement Form before borrowing any library equipment.
