NWACC Library subscribes to two streaming services which students can use. Listed below are the two streaming services. The Kanopy streaming service is a purchase-on-demand by faculty only who wishes to add streaming content within their courses.
Use this to: explore a vast collection of streaming videos across diverse academic disciplines, such as anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, and music.
Find: documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs, and more.
Great for: finding documentaries for the Holocaust Project and courses in humanities, business, sciences, behavioral sciences, and the arts.
Use this to: stream films and documentaries across a wide variety of academic and cultural subjects.
Find: documentaries, independent films, classic cinema, and foreign films from renowned producers like The Criterion Collection, PBS, and A24.
Great for: discovering documentaries and films to enhance research projects, spark class discussions, or fulfill assignments in film studies, history, sociology, political science, and the arts.
