Streaming Media

This guide provides information on streaming video resources available from the NWACC library and additional internet resources.

NWACC Library's Streaming Media Guide

We provide access to streaming music and videos through four major providers:

If what you need is not available in the four resources listed above, there are a few other library databases that contain streaming content and some films are available at open access sites.

This guide organizes these additional resources into the following broad categories:

  • Other Library Collections
  • Internet Sites

Authenticated Access

All streaming media in NWACC Library's collections are purchased or licensed content, limited to current NWACC students, faculty, and staff. While film distributors use a variety of hosting systems and platforms, please realize that some distributors do not provide their own hosting options, and we do not have the infrastructure to host streaming content. All media, audio or video, in collections licensed by the NWACC Library can be used in Canvas, the Learning Management platform. For assistance with providing permalinks, embedded links, or if you are unable to access an audio or video we have purchased or licensed to streaming content please contact us.
