Service Learning
Library resources to support NWACC service learning projects.
Introduction
Students in this project work with English Language Learners (ELL) in NWACC's Adult Education Program, specifically the Advanced Level ELL students, and discuss professor-driven, student-driven topics on current events, societal concerns, and various other issues. Students work with faculty members Ed Rogers and Jeanie Peters.

ERIC contains more than one million records and links to hundreds of thousands of full-text documents dating back to 1966.

The coverage spans the literature on primary, secondary and higher education as well as special education, home schooling and adult education. - Academic Search Premier This link opens in a new window A multi-disciplinary full text database containing full text for more than 4,600 journals, including nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals. This scholarly collection offers information in nearly every area of academic study including: computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies, and many more.
