Library resources to support NWACC service learning projects.
Introduction
This project involves helping local history agencies to transcribe historical documents, research historical buildings and photograph them, and other history related activities like volunteering for History Day under the guidance of Dr. Jami Forrester or cleaning neglected graves in local cemeteries.
Students also help with the Northwest Arkansas History Day contest, which is held annually on the NWACC campus.

- Arkansas Gravestone Photo ProjectThe mission of the Arkansas Gravestones Project is to capture and archive digital images of our ancestors' gravestones. As decades pass the inscriptions on many gravestones are becoming difficult, if not impossible, to read.
