Join the Convos

Welcome to Conversations on Learning, a professional development series designed to foster informal exploration and discussion among faculty and staff. This series is facilitated by Dr. Jennifer Swartout, Associate VP of General Education, and Shawna Thorup, Library Director, who bring their expertise and passion for education to each session.

Purpose and Goals: The primary aim of this series is to create a collaborative space where faculty can share insights, explore new ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations about teaching and learning. By participating in these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Enhance your teaching practices.
  • Connect with colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and research in education.

We believe that some of the most impactful learning happens through informal, open-ended discussions. This series is designed to be a relaxed and supportive environment where you can freely exchange ideas and experiences.

Join us as we embark on this journey of continuous learning and professional growth. We look forward to your participation and contributions!
