Supporting Adult Learners: Navigating the Challenges and Opportunities  

Adult learners bring diverse life experiences, motivations, and challenges to the classroom, but how exactly do we define them? How can we bridge the gap between traditional and adult learning styles, creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students? This session will explore the unique needs of adult learners and how we can adapt our teaching strategies to support their success. We won’t offer quick fixes but aim to build a community of practice where we share our experiences, learn from colleagues, and gain fresh perspectives on fostering academic achievement for adult learners. Whether you’re an experienced instructor of adult learners or new to the experience, your voice is essential in this collaborative exploration.
