Library Spaces

  • The library has three main spaces (The Library, The Learning Commons, and the Walker Information Commons @NWACC-Washington County), 7 study rooms, and two instructional spaces..
  • The three main spaces include public computers, access to wi-fi, and places to sit and study.

Library Tours

Library tours last approximately 10-20 minutes. They are best held during the first 3-4 weeks of the semester. Please book at least one week in advance.

This is not a Library Information Literacy session. If you would like more library information than 20 minutes allows, overviews of the databases, or or other Library Information Literacy Instruction, please request using the Information Literacy Instruction form instead.

 

Reserve Instructional Space

Do you need a classroom for your students to do research and work on assignments or a meeting space for your team, clubs, or student organizations?

We have the Library Classroom in Burns Hall 1208 and the Library Wing in Burns Hall 1342. See our booking platform for details about each room and to reserve your date/time. Reservations are available 2 months in advance.

Study Rooms

NWACC Library has seven study rooms available for use by students, faculty, and staff. All study rooms have a computer. Bookings may be made three weeks in advance and last for three hours. Walker Information Commons at Washington County campus has one study room.
