How to Find the Network Name and Password on Your WiFi Hotspot

We have a few different models of wifi hotspots, but here are directions for the latest version.

Press and hold the Power button (on the face of the device) for 5 seconds until the welcome logo is displayed on the Screen, and Wi-Fi is on.

  • Use the Menu button (on top of the device) to scroll through options. Use the Power button (on the face of the device) to select an option.
  • Use your terminal device (computer or phone) to search for the wireless network connection with the Wi-Fi’s SSID “Verizon-RC400L-XX” and click “Connect”. Enter the password. The Password can be found by going to the 2.4GHz WIFI Info screen. The password is displayed next to the lock icon.
  • It should look like this:

Wifi Hotspots  are available for loan to current NWACC students only. The devices are first come first serve, but students may place holds in the online catalog, KOHA, and the loan period is for 3 weeks. Hotspots may be renewed if there are no other students waiting for one.  Students must review and sign the Equipment Check-Out Agreement Form before being permitted to borrow equipment from the Library.
