The NWACC library provides approximately 75 Dell laptops that are checked out up to 21 days or 3 weeks on a first come, first serve basis. Only currently enrolled students may check out laptops.
- You may renew a laptop once, if other laptops are available. If all laptops are loaned out at the time you wish to renew, you must return the laptop by it's due date. Please reach out to the library via text, email, chat if you have any questions regarding the renewal or return of the laptop.
- All Laptops come with the protective software Deep Freeze. In order to protect student privacy, the device will reset to its original checkout state upon each restart. Please be sure to back up any work to a flash drive, cloud account, or other external storage method regularly, as all work will be deleted upon computer start up.
- Laptops are only equipped with basic software such as Microsoft suite and web browsers. Therefore, using Library laptops for certain classes may not be appropriate. If the student is required to use specialized software for class, please reach out to your professor regarding options for how to access that software. Specialized software will NOT be added to any laptop even upon request.
- When checking out a laptop, students are provided with the laptop, a charging cable, and a laptop bag. Please return all items to the NWACC Library in undamaged condition by the due date to avoid any late fees and equipment charges.
- An equipment agreement form must also be signed and on file in the library before one can borrow library equipment. The Equipment Agreement Form can be viewed below:
