What is OEN?

NWACC joined the Open Education Network (OEN) this year. As a member, NWACC faculty and staff have access to a range of resources. Below are some of the basic resources. To inquire further, email the NWACC OER Committee at OER@nwacc.edu

OEN brings together educational institutions from around the world to help provide resources for adopting, creating, remixing, and promoting Open Educational Resources (OER) and open pedagogy. Schools from around the country and the world are members.

There are three other schools from Arkansas that also belong to OEN:

  1. Arkansas State University Mountain Home
  2. University of Arkansas
  3. University of Arkansas-Cossatot Community College
