Learning Commons

Welcome to the Library's new Learning Commons (Burns Hall 1217) -- a hub of academic support and collaboration designed to empower students on their learning journey! Here, students can find readily available assistance from the Writing Center, the Math Center, and dedicated peer tutors

In addition to tutoring services, the Learning Commons also provides:

  • Individual and collaborative study spaces.
  • Approximately 30 computers and 3 Macs for public use.
  • Printer/copier for black/white or color printing.
  • Laminator available upon request (fees apply).

Workshops

Walker Information Commons

This space is open all building hours.

Library staff is on site Monday - Thursday - check our hours.

  • Located on the Washington County Campus in WC 111, approximately 15 computers are available for student use, as well as a printer/copier for black/white or color printing. Laminating services are available upon request.
  • One study room is available for booking. Reserve it at this link.
  • Limited course reserve textbooks, calculators, laptops, and wi-fi hotspots are available for check out at the desk.
    • Items may be borrowed only during library staff hours.
  • Reference and printing help is available at the service desk Monday - Thursday during regular semester hours.
