Learn smart, ethical ways to use AI writing tools. See demos, compare tool types, and get professor-friendly language you can use today.

‼️Important Reminder

AI can support your writing, but it should not replace your ideas or style.

🚨 Always check with your instructor before you use AI for any coursework!

Learn the Ground Rules

Follow these simple steps to keep it ethical ⚖️ and act responsibly. 😇

  1. Draft first in your own words.
  2. Use AI as a helper, not a ghostwriter.
  3. Review & rewrite so it sounds like you.

Try These Prompts

  • ✨ Light Touch: Fix grammar and spelling only. Keep my tone and style the same.
  • 🎯 Rewrite: Rewrite this paragraph to sound more professional and academic.

Tip: Use “light touch” to keep your own voice. “Rewrite” risks making it sound less like you.

📌 Rewriting vs. Reviewing: Where’s the Line?

AI can be a helpful editor or a risky ghostwriter.

🚨 Always check with your instructor before you use AI for any coursework!

✅ It’s okay to use AI for quick fixes (grammar, spelling, clarity).

⚠️ It’s not okay to let AI write whole sections for you and then turn it in as your own.

Practice These 5 Ethical Prompts

Prompts like these show you how to use generative AI like ChatGPT and Gemini responsibly:

  1. Fix grammar and spelling only. Keep my tone and style the same.
  2. Suggest 3 ways I could make this paragraph clearer, but don’t rewrite it.
  3. Highlight any sentences that sound too casual for academic writing.
  4. Check this for run-on sentences and suggest how to split them up.
  5. Point out words that sound repetitive and suggest alternatives.
👉 Tip: These prompts keep you in control. AI shows you options, but you make the final edits.
