NWACC’s librarians will facilitate a critical conversation and demonstration of the multiple frameworks available for evaluating information sources. We will explore techniques such as the CRAAP Test, the SMELL test, SIFT, ACT UP, and the 5 Ws with hands-on practice. With misinformation rampant and so many tools to choose from, how do you select a method? And once you’ve selected, how do you use it with your students?
