**The library has an assortment of laptops to lend, including different versions of the Microsoft Surface Pro Touchscreen 2-in-1 Laptop.
Though you will initially request to be placed on a waiting list on a specific device, we will be filling requests on a first come, first serve basis, and in order to do that, you may not receive the exact device you requested.
However, all of our devices run Windows OS and provide the same basic operations and the same programs and applications.
This guide will walk you through the process of placing a library hold. Once you place a hold from your account, you will receive an email when your laptop, book, DVD, or whatever other item you ordered is ready to pick up. You will have 5 days to come to the Information Commons to retrieve your item.
