Recommended Websites

CERI - The Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI) maintains this comprehensive resource on earthquakes. This website provides data on recent earthquakes, seismic activity, and new research on earthquakes.

Cloud Types -
Provides information about cloud formation, cloud types, and other cloud-related phenomena as well as images of various cloud types. 

Google Earth - This free, downloadable program lets you explore our planet from above through satellite data and detailed maps.


National Weather Service - Maintained by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this website detailed weather information for the United States, including warnings, satellite imagery, air quality information, and detailed forecasts.

U.S. Geological Survey -
Home of the United States Geological Survey, this website provides a wealth of information about climate change, droughts, earthquakes, floods, groundwater, minerals, volcanoes, and more.

 

One can also go to Google and search for-  site: .gov geology to retrieve all the government published website and reports on geology subject. Here is the link to such as search Google Geology.
